The candidate:
We are seeking an experienced HR manager with a background in manufacturing to join our friendly HR team at Nonwovenn in Bridgwater. This will be your opportunity to shape a value-added HR function that helps drive business success in a rapid growing privately owned manufacturing business.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives across the full spectrum of HR including reward, recruitment, engagement, development, employee relations, diversity, inclusion, and compliance.
You will have a proven track record of delivering value-added HR that aligns with business needs. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced business with multiple HR challenges. You will be collaborative, pragmatic, approachable, patient, tactful, and able to engage at all levels within an organisation. You will be results orientated and capable of working out what plan of action aligns with our business goals.

Key responsibilities in this role will include:
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with company
objectives and comply with legal requirements.
- Overseeing recruitment and selection process to ensure the hiring of top talent.
- Implementing effective onboarding and training programs to ensure new hires are
quickly integrated into the company culture and equipped with the skills necessary to
succeed in their roles.
- Providing coaching and guidance to managers on HR best practices and employee
relations issues.
- Working with the HR Director on the design and implementation of performance
management programs that drive employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
- Working with the HR Director on the design and implementation of compensation and benefits packages that attract and retain top talent.
- Ensuring compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations.
- Supporting the HR Director and the wider team in the delivery of organisational and
cultural change activities.
- Collaborating with other departments to develop cross-functional initiatives that
support overall company goals and objectives.
- Providing key HR metrics to help guide decision making across the company.
To be successful it is likely that you will have;
- Experience of HR in a manufacturing environment.
- Up to date knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures and UK employment law.
- Ability to use a HR information system including, accessing, inputting, and compiling
data.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in working with HR information systems and other HR technology tools.
- Be CIPD qualified or equivalent

This is a full time, permanent role, 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday, paying £50,000 - £60,000, DOE
